Spurred on by the Olympic movement, this day is all about promoting physical fitness.

If a person dreams of reaching the pinnacle of sport and making it to a Summer Games or Winter Olympics, then he or she must pay attention to physical fitness.

Imagine the types of things you can do when you're fleet of foot and not carrying excess weight.

All types of athletes are behind the Olympic Day, including those that compete in the snow and ice.

So don't be a lazy dog. Get out there, have some fun and break a sweat!
