Lee Seunghyun of Goyang Orions has also been named in the team on the back of an MVP-winning performance in the Choi Kangjeon Pro-Am basketball challenge.

Yoon Hoyoung of Wonju Dongbu Promy is on the roster but an injury will prevent him from taking part in Chinese Taipei.

Lee Junghyun of Anyang KGC is the other Korean making the trip to Chinese Taipei.

At the FIBA Basketball World Cup, Korea failed to win a game in Gran Canaria but did have some bright moments.

The team rebounded with a gold medal at the Asian Games it hosted in Incheon.
