Greece use fourth quarter spurt to knock off Serbia

HERAKLION (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - Greece used a fourth quarter spurt to knock off Serbia, 69-60, and capture first place in Group D of the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship.

Turning Point: The game was close throughout until the fourth quarter when Greece used an 8-0 run over 2:33 minutes to open a 60-49 lead with 3:35 minutes to play.

Stats Don't Lie: Greece grabbed 17 steals in forcing 23 Serbia turnovers while making 25-of-38 free throws compared to 10-of-13 for Serbia.

Game Hero: Tyler Dorsey scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter including seven points in the decisive run.

The Bottom Line: Greece picked up an important victory over a tough team despite missing one of their leaders as Vasilis Charalampopoulos is still trying to get back from his injury. Greece take on Tunisia in the Round of 16 while Serbia face Dominican Republic.
