Gallicchio helps expansion of FIBA Organiser and LiveStats in Americas

SAO PAULO - FIBA Organizer and LiveStats continue to be utilised around the globe and especially in the Americas, where Marcelo Gallicchio is assisting SportingPulse in a further roll out of the products.

Gallicchio is a well-respected instructor in the region and as Technical Director of the Uruguay Basketball Federation, has always had a strong grip on basketball in South America.

He also has a long history as both a FIBA Organizer and FIBA LiveStats user and regional trainer in his homeland and beyond - something which is going to prove invaluable after a breakthrough in Brazil and expanded use in Argentina.

"We have had a strong focus on South America for some time and have had great support over the years from FIBA Americas in promoting and using FIBA Organizer and FIBA Live Stats in the region," explained SportingPulse CEO and Founder Nick Maywald.

"We are delighted that the Asociacion de Clubes de Basquetbol will come onboard and use SportingPulse software and data solutions across the top professional leagues in Argentina from 2015/16 season.

"We are also very excited to have our solutions used in Brazil for the first time.

"The Federacao Paulista de Basketball began last week and fans will be able to follow live webcast of games for the first time as well view detailed statistics from all games.

"The Brazilian National U15 Championships, Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-15 Masculino e Feminino, begin on 9 August and friends and family of all the players competing will be able to follow all the action on the tournament website.

"To support our new and existing leagues in the Americas we are delighted to welcome Marcelo Gallicchio to the SportingPulse team.

"Marcelo has been an experienced user of SportingPulse solutions in Uruguay for many years and will be able to provide local training and support for all our leagues in the Americas region."
