Australia enter win column for first time ahead of knockout stage 

HERAKLION (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - Australia picked up their first victory at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship by cruising past Tunisia93-64, to finish in third place in Group C with a 1-2 record. Four Australians scored in double figures, paced by 18 from Jack White. Tunisia dropped to 0-3 despite 20 points from Ahmed Dhif

Turning Point: Tunisia only trailed 26-23 when Australia went on a 20-7 run for a 46-30 lead and were never threatened again.

Stats Don't Lie: Australia won the battle of the board with 51 rebounds to Tunisia’s 25, and they had 17 second chance points compared to zero for Tunisia.

Game Hero: White made 7-of-8 shots for 18 points while also collecting six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.

The Bottom Line: Australia lost their first two games by a combined five points and finally made it to the win column before heading into the knockout stage. Tunisia remained winless in Greece but did manage to score 64 points - the most thus far for them in the tournament.
