New Year's Resolutions: Laimonas Kisielius

MINSK (FIBA Europe Cup) - Tsmoki Minsk forward Laimonas Kisielius is one of the FIBA Europe Cup players we asked to share their reflections on the past year and expectations for the upcoming 2017.

After spending the last couple of seasons back home in Lithuania, the versatile player moved to the neighbouring Belarus and has been a solid all-around contributor for the Dragons in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 8.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

FIBA.com: If you had to single out three personal important moments/experiences of 2016, which three would you choose?
Getting married this past July would take all three spots for personal moments of 2016.

FIBA.com: What will be your New Year's resolutions? Do you plan on making binding decisions for your life in 2017?
To be honest I'm not a fan of making resolutions or any big changes in my life just because it's a new year. I'm always trying to improve as a basketball player and as a person, thus you might say constant progress is my goal.

FIBA.com: How do you plan to spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day?
No big plans for the New Year's Eve. I will have some friends visiting from my homeland Lithuana and I will try to show them around town a bit.

FIBA.com: If you were told that you get to fulfil one big dream or one big wish of yours in 2017, what would you choose?
I'd like to win every single game we play. It's one of the best feelings one can have when you see your hard work pays off.
