TTT Riga wrap up roster with return of influential Carter
RIGA (EuroCup Women 2017) – TTT Riga have put the finishing touches to their roster for EuroCup Women 2017 by cementing the return of the influential Sydney Carter who was their standout player last season.
The all-action Texan averaged a fruitful 15.9 points, 3.2 assists and three rebounds per game last season in 10 outings in the competition – figures which underline the importance of the Latvian powerhouse getting her back on board.
"Sydney has proven value and I have always liked her attitude in training," emphasised TTT Riga head coach, Aigars Nerips.

"Her contribution to games is continuous – her shooting, points-scoring and her energy.
"Sydney is a positive energy carrier in practice too, which is very important within TTT’s structure."
Meanwhile the player herself is thankful to be back in the Latvian capital and said, "I am happy to return for a third season playing with TTT.
"The team and Riga have warmly received and supported me, so it allows me to feel comfortable.
"I am pleased to have already seen some familiar team-mates, as well as play with the newcomers.
"In recent years, we together have grown as a team and I expect another brilliant and competitive season," concluded Carter.
TTT Riga will play in a tough looking Group C of Conference 1 and have certainly put together a roster which could be capable of competing. They will face Galatasaray, Dynamo Novosibirsk Region and either Chevakata Vologda or Samsun Canik Belediye who meet in the EuroCup Women qualifiers.
