MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) – We are opening the discussion to find the greatest EuroLeague Women hero in the modern era of the competition, and we want you to weigh in on the debate.

Between 1996 and present, EuroLeague Women has borne witness to some of the finest exponents of the women’s game, but we want to know who is the greatest of all.

Our panel of women’s basketball experts have already narrowed the field down to 32, placing the chosen few into a bracket, from which the public can now vote on to find the greatest.

For the first round of the bracket, the players have been paired based on their skillsets. The 16 pairings can be found here.

Voting for the round of 32 is open now, with one pair squaring off every second day through to August 10. Voting will be on facebook.com/euroleaguewomen; twitter.com/euroleaguewomen and instagram.com/euroleaguewomen; beginning today with Diana Taurasi up against Anete Jekabsone.

The subsequent rounds will then follow, before the winner is arrived upon on September 12, prior to tip-off in the 2017/18 EuroLeague Women season.
