With the U20 European Championships complete, which players will be going to EuroBasket?

MIES (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - The FIBA U20 European Championship 2017, Division A and B are over, but for a group of 14 stars, FIBA EuroBasket 2017 could now be in their sights.

Here is a list of the players from the U20 competitions who will be heading to senior national team training camp.

GEORGIA

Goga Bitadze

Bitadze only just turned 18 in mid-July, but the big man could provide Georgia with some athleticism and energy from the center position. Bitadze showed at times he could dominate at U20 level.

GREAT BRITAIN

Carl Wheatle

Wheatle is a forward who can play outside and inside and also gets after it on both ends. Wheatle helped Great Britain earn promotion from the FIBA U20 European Championship, Division B.

ICELAND

Hlinason already made his Iceland senior national team debut last summer in the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 Qualifiers. Now the big man is ready to make his Final Round debut, following a superb U20 showing.

Kari Jonsson

Jonsson was slowed a bit at the U20 tournament, but he still displayed the skill-set which got him an invite to the training camp. He is a superb point guard who could serve as a backup for the senior team.

Kristinn Palsson

The senior team is the logical next step for the shooting guard, who showcased his ability to help out in other areas when he can't score. He might find it tough to make the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 roster, but the training camp will be a major benefit for Palsson.

ITALY

Davide Moretti

Moretti is a natural-born leader with a huge will to win, as he collected 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the decisive game to avoid relegation. The Italian senior team is loaded and Moretti is solely an option to fill in at the training camp if needed.

ROMANIA

Emauel Cate

Cate was named MVP of the FIBA U20 European Championship 2017, Division B for the title-winning Romanians. The power forward did everything to win the crown and maybe he could grab a spot on the roster of the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 co-hosts.

Nandor Kuti

Kuti struggled from three-point range but helped out in other areas in helping Romania win the FIBA U20 European Championship 2017, Division B title. If he finds his form from outside, he could serve as a shooter and distributor at FIBA EuroBasket 2017.

Bogdan Nicolescu

Nicolescu came up with big plays all tournament in helping Romania win the FIBA U20 European Championship 2017, Division B title. His versatility could land him a spot at FIBA EuroBasket 2017.

SLOVENIA

Zan Mark Sisko

Sisko was tied for fourth at the tournament with 5.3 assists while helping in plenty of other ways as well. The point guard plays tough defense which will be needed if he wants to make the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 roster. Sisko has already played Basketball Champions League this season with Cibona.

TURKEY

Egehan Arna

Arna played for the national team for the first time since 2013, when he represented Turkey at U16 level. But he showed how far he has come, nearly picking up a triple-double against Iceland with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

Furkan Korkmaz

Korkmaz was a late arrival at the U20 competition and finally found his groove in his third appearance. Korkmaz displayed some excellent facilitating abilities which he will need with the senior team, where he is not one of the top-scoring options.

Omer Yurtseven

Appearing in his second U20 tournament, Yurtseven's numbers went up across the board and averaged a double-double despite still being a year younger than the competition. He would provide an alternative scoring option to the senior team as well as a rebounder and shot-blocking presence.

UKRAINE

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Mykhailuk did struggle a bit with turnovers at the tournament but showed he can dominate at U20 level. The wing already made his senior national team debut at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2014. He would be more of an option this time around.
