Linklater named MVP at Lausanne Masters

LAUSANNE (2016 FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - Despite being the shortest player of the tournament (1.78m), Saskatoon (CAN) star Michael Linklater won MVP honours at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Lausanne Masters on 26-27 August 2016.

The number 11 3x3 player in the world finished third overall in scoring and led his team to victory, with a memorable performance in the final. He scored a game-high 9 points, including a filthy crossover.

The 33-year-old had highlights all weekend and headlined the Top 5 of the tournament with a between-the-legs playground move on the opening day.

Linklater will be one of the players to watch at the World Tour Final in Abu Dhabi on 27-28 October 2016.
